5-6 waffles

Time: 10-20 minutes


Ingredients

  • 90 g chickpea flour
  • 45 g all-purpose or gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar or baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

 

  1. Mix all dry ingredients (chickpea flour, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and salt) in a bowl.
  2. Combine all wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the wet ingredient mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Bake the waffles in a waffle iron. 

Top with your favourite breakfast ingredients, such as yogurt, honey, berry syrup, fresh fruit, granola or seeds and nuts.
